I love stories — hearing them and telling them.
I’m a member of the Baden Storytellers Guild and have told stories frequently at Stories Aloud at The Button Factory, in Waterloo, ON, and First Fridays in The Story Barn. My favourite stories to tell have been folktales, family stories, and others I’ve written.
World Storytelling Day concerts where I’ve had the privilege of telling stories include the Button Factory, the Waterloo Regional Museum, Kitchener, ON, and The Story Barn, Baden, ON,
There have also been other opportunities to tell stories in public places such as The Ark in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, while on vacation; the Heart and Hand Festival at the Joseph Schneider Haus, Kitchener; the Enabling Garden in Guelph; and at my church, St. Philip Lutheran, Kitchener ON.
