What’s Next for You as a Writer?

Posted in: Articles | 0

Here we are near the end of another year. I hope in spite of the pandemic there has been some good in your work and family life in 2022. And that you’ve been able to write and perhaps consider publication of some of your work.

This month, I offer a challenge and a prompt for writing.

First, what goals do you have for your writing in the New Year?
Do you plan to submit a story, poem, or article for consideration? Are you working on a novel that seems to have stalled and you need a fresh start? Perhaps there’s been a season in your life where writing was halted for a time. Is this the time to start up again?

Are you ready for the prompt? In whatever genre you write, take this cue as a first line or idea to start:

“The most important event in my life …”

In my faith tradition, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. For those who celebrate differently, I wish you joy and peace in your tradition. Safety and health to all. Thank you for subscribing.
