Carolyn Wilker has presented workshops at Write! Canada, the Fall District Toastmasters conference and Division training as well as speaking to other clubs within District 86 Toastmasters. In 2010, she emceed the Kitchener launch of Grandmothers' Necklace, and in 2011, taught business communications at Conestoga College.

Carolyn teaches creative writing at the Rockway Centre in Kitchener, ON, to eager adult students. She is the author of Once Upon a Sandbox, a collection of memories in prose and poetry about growing up on a family farm.

Storytelling:

Carolyn Wilker is a frequent teller at the Story Barn, Baden, Ontario, with folktales, family stories, and stories from her pen. A member of the Baden Storyteller's Guild, she has also told at World Storytelling Day concert, Waterloo Regional Museum, Kitchener, ON; the Ark in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; and the Heart and Hand Festival at the Joseph Schneider Haus, Kitchener, among many others.
